Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Yudzu ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Yudzu website and services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication details (including via Google sign-in, if you use it).
- Connected keys and accounts — API keys and OAuth tokens you connect for AI providers and publishing platforms. These are stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions you request.
- Content — media you upload and content you generate, schedule, or publish through the Service.
- Usage and billing data — logs of generation and rendering runs, credit balances, and transaction records from our payment provider.
- Technical data — device, browser, and log information collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
We use your information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to process payments and credits; to communicate with you about your account; and to comply with legal obligations. We may generate embeddings of content and library examples to power semantic search within the Service.
3. AI providers and third parties
When you run a generation, your prompts and inputs are sent to the AI provider you select (using your key or ours). Those providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies. We also rely on infrastructure and processors such as hosting, storage, database, and payment providers strictly to run the Service.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment details directly. We do not store full card numbers.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer, and always subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of connected keys. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
